It's my 23rd Birthday and I don't feel a day old. I believe my best years have yet to come. This adventure I'm about to take with my brethren, Spitty Crack and Brucey B, will hopefully create a life more enjoyable than I could imagine. Today, I've decided to do things a little differently and give YOU, the music lovers, a gift. Actually it's 3 gifts, 3 NEW IRD tracks. The first one "Mic Stance" is a leak of the upcoming album (later this month), The Fetus. This one bangs, that's all I have to say. The second is an instrumental called "Summer Scorcher". Along with my boy Dr. Fil, we composed this bad boy at the beginning of summer to give you that crazy feel that comes every summer. This beat is straight heat and starts as a typical hip hop beat, but goes into another realm of music when you get deeper into it. It has a groovy bass line, along with some really cool sounds, killer chorus melody, and shredding strings from Ryan Porciello's guitar. This one can be listened to and danced to with out any lyrics, but Spitty will be laying something down in the future. The last track is for the true hip hop heads out there, entitled "I.R. 2 The Diesel". This track was recorded last fall in Asheville with a local MC/Producer named Sun7. Sun7 laced us with the beat, which is straight up an early 90's boom bapper, and Sun is also featured on the 2nd verse. This record is back on that grimy, filthy, break-neck shit. Battle rhymes and an evil chopped up sample will make the hip hop lovers nod their heads in disgust. These three leaks have a little something for everyone.
