Sorry it's been a minute since the last post and I ain't got an excuse. Been lazy on the blogging tip, but not the music tip. Brucey B, Spitty Crack and myself have been hard at work, sparing our spring breaks, to give you some of that ill shit. A lot of new material is being made, and all I can say there is improvement. Our ideas are becoming more focused and we now have concrete goals to reach. Here's the run down on what we have been up to: The Fetus is on its way and near completion(I know I have been have been saying that forever, but it is). We are in the process of of rerecording one or two tracks, mixing 3-4 tracks, and getting album photography/artwork done. Honestly, I can't wait for The Fetus to be out because the new tracks we are making right now truly represent who we are as musicians.
Spitty Crack has single handedly made 20 tracks recorded and 20 more to be tracked. We don't have nearly enough material for this kid. He's just eating beats for snacks in between lunch. Brucey has been experimenting with his beats using the knowledge he has acquired from his schooling at UNCA. I have recently started receiving training over at the Recording Engineer Institute in Islandia and I'm learning a shit load. I mean every direction we are going is music and our shit is going to be lights out!
We have a IRD/Pretty Lights EP on the way putting lyrics over PL's insane beats. Since Pretty Lights just dropped a new EP, we have more beats to choose for the EP we are going at right now. Believe me, this project will be sure to grab people's attention, even if they are not hip hop heads. The next project, after The Fetus, already has lined up a couple of dope features on production and the mic. Also we should be having a show sometime in May with the 4NZX, that's going to be nuts!
