This is the last track my friend, Fil Olzak, and I made before he went to Poland for med school (hence the name Dr. Fil.) We wanted to make something uptempo and with a moving bassline. The constant changing piano parts by Dr. Fil hold down the blues-live feel. I had fun mixing this one, and challenged myself to keep the track keep moving and change numerous parts of every instrument. I went heavy into shaping my bass by adding a vocal filter, compression, eq and a bass amp. A fun track for sure, so come take a ride with the Blues Brothers 2010.

October 2010 is when I began creating this track called "Feel Change". I was about to graduate from audio engineer school, and in a few months, going to move to North Carolina. The change that was about to happen in my life was huge, and I could actually feel it coming. I played the majority of the midi patterns with Ableton midi instruments. I liked the track, but I had to an get organic, analog sound to give it that warmth I desperately needed in the track. One of my favorite instruments is a sax because it can provide a ton of emotion to any record. I had the honor of having Long Island local talent, Dennis Lucenti, to record saxophone on the entire track. I recorded him dry and added reverb, delay and other fx in mix down. I intend for this track to be an experience and to evoke various emotions (when change is happening we feel so many emotions ranging from excitement to anger.) At the conclusion of the song, I hope you will feel a positive change is coming in your life. In the sane way I felt while creating this song.. This track is more than just a beat to me. This track is a musical representation of myself, in that point and time in my life. I hope you enjoy, "Feel Change"
